May we take a moment to remind you of a few travel tips when going to a
hotel?

1) Don't touch the honor bar unless you absolutely need to! What are the
chances that you would buy a $4 USD bottle of water in your local store? Or
would you pay $3 for peanuts? Those little snacks can add up on your travel
costs, and unless someone else is picking up the tab, take a walk to the
local store and pick up your snacks to save some money.

2) To Park or not to Park? Watch out for Expensive Hotel Parking Services
You may get a bargain room for $40 a night, but add your car's accomodations
to that, and you could be up to the regular rack rate of $60-80! Suddenly
your cheap hotel room isn't so... cheap.

Especially in metropolis centres can you find reasonably priced public
parking facilities that are well lit, patrolled, and within walking distance
to your hotel. Many times these rates are less than HALF of what the hotel
would charge, and you get the benefit of some extra sightseeing and exercise
on your way to pick up your car.
